| What is peace? is it having everything together, all your ducks in a row the way you want tthem. I'm sure it's above having life organized or even figured out. The peace I have is from above a perfect peace that I accept when I trust in my Lord. I trust that He is in control and leading me the way He desires. Read Iasiah 26:3-4 trust is where peace comes from.
I took this trip to Texas with an agenda to talk to everyone I know there, but God had different plans. He took me on this journey with Him to see my family and a few friends. Along the way He showed me that He is in control and taught me again to follow Him, to keep my eyes on Him. The trip turned from a stressful run around to a restful renewal in my Lord Jesus Christ.
Though I still have to accomplish the contacting everyone in Texas I know, there has not been the anxiety that was hanging over me before. I praise God for the blessings He abundantly showers on me.
Peace be with you,

| A good man died today near Hondo, TX in a cropduster plane crash. He's from my hometown, Sudan, TX, and was married to my highschool buddy's sister, Bonnie. They also have a little girl. Please be praying for the Fisher family with the loss of their son and the Hall family as they comfort thier daugther and grand daughter through this hard time.
And another prayer, one of my brother's classmates, Doug, lost his wife after a few weeks of marriage in a car accident in February, she was 22. Pray that he finds God's hand at work in this crazy world.
I was reading the book of James about making plans and living for ourselves, and these are two things that remind me that my time, our time on this planet is limited. We are all merely mist in the wind. These lives we hold so tightly will soon be gone. Lord, I pray that you make us more aware of you in our lives and protect us from complacency of our mild actioned lives, that we will be like fire for You. Thank You, God Almighty, for loving.

| Went to Mexico last week. It was a blast, we built a house for a family in Jarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Losts of hard work, but everyone made it out alive. We thought bryan and vicki might be lost in the stucco, and jared would run off with the kids (haha).
Got back to Dallas on Thursday and went to OKC on Friday to hang with some friends, that was a crazy trip. No one got shot (ha), but we all got a good preachin from the soap box.
Back to moving. Sucessfully delivered a load of my junk to my parents' b/f the Mexico run, and another hopefully this weekend. "Amarillo by mornin," is what I'll be singin soon, I need to go visit some people up that way.
New Orleans is where I'll be the last week of March, for Katrina relief trip with CO pplz. Then back to Dallas for the cooks wedding. Ohh the business of life...

| I'm looking for 70 people to pray.
Ministry in any case is a battle, we all need people praying for us.
I'm inviting you to be committed to pray for God's work in my life and the ministry I'll be involved in.
If this interests you shoot me a line. I'll need at least your email to keep you updated with newsletters and prayer requests.
Thanks and God Bless You All,

| So today I get to go
hang out in Denver with a fellow campus minister and his group that
meets tonight, I might go to Estes Park or see a friend that recently
moved to CO before that, we'll see. the past few days have been very
relaxing and focused on building some relationships with church people
and students in the ministry here.
Friday was very lazy...woke up late,
went for coffee with a couple of friends from Impact, played lots of
games with them and the children of my hosts. Bible trivia with special
cards for kids was hard for us bible college grads. Saturday was nice a
trip to the park with the family here, church, an indoor soccer game,
and hanging with the team afterward at a resturant. Sunday- Church with
a great view of Pikes Peak, Soccer after lunch with a few college
students (part of the indoor team), small group from church and time
with my basement roommy.
Only a couple more days and I'll be
back in Dallas running to get everything packed, trips taken for
support and farewells, I've been invited to a retreat up here in a
couple of weeks, moving out, a Mission trip with Central, more
traveling to say final goodbyes to West Texas and maybe Oklahoma. All
by the middle of March. JW
